Have You Ever Tried to Build Vocabulary?
If you have ever tried to build your vocabulary, you have struggled with applications that were neither versatile nor fast. VocabSave has solved many of these problems and continues to do so. Let me share my experience and see if VocabSave works for you.
Previous Attempts at Vocabulary Building
Duolingo: Personally, I used Duolingo to build my English vocabulary, and even though I don't have a huge vocabulary, I knew everything in that application. It was bloody easy for me; it wasn't a vocabulary builder at all.
Vocabulary.com: I tried Vocabulary.com, but it wasn't versatile. It didn't allow me to add custom definitions or usage examples. It also didn't allow me to add translations, and it took a long time to add words.
iOS Vocabulary Apps: These are pretty much the popular ones, but I also tried vocabulary apps in the iOS store. Most of them lacked functionality. Some of them solved one problem, some of them solved another, but they didn't solve them all.
What Did I Need?
- The ability to add my own definitions and usage examples.
- The ability to add translations for definitions, examples, and the word itself.
- The ability to add words as fast as a cowboy can draw, so I can add a word in seconds and continue watching a TV show or podcast.
- The ability to customize the fields where I add words. Maybe I don't need translations; maybe I don't need definition or usage fields.
How Does VocabSave Work?
When I open VocabSave, the "Add Word" button is always visible on the screen, making it easy to access the Add Word form with just one click or tap. Here’s how it works:
- Add a Word: I simply type in the word I want to add.
- AI Assistance: I press the "Fill with AI" button, and the app automatically fills in all the necessary information for me.
- Save: Finally, I click the "Save" button to add the word to my vocabulary list.
This whole process takes just a few seconds, so I don’t have to pause my TV show to add a word.
Additionally, VocabSave allows me to customize the Word Adder form. I can remove any fields I don’t need, making it even more tailored to my preferences.
Conclusion
VocabSave has truly enhanced my vocabulary-building experience, making it efficient and personalized. If you're looking for a versatile and quick vocabulary builder that fits your unique learning style, I highly recommend giving VocabSave a try!
